Since 1983 Ernest Tinsley has been the men's day speaker at over fifty churches in twenty-one states and territories. This three CD set includes his most requested and well-received messages. These messages explore three subjects familiar to every Christian. An understanding of these subjects will enhance the lives and witness of every believer as we understand that we can overcome failure, find our function, and be fruitful.
In Failure, Tinsley looks at Peter's denial of Jesus as an example of a follower of Christ's failure. The message delineates three crucial factors that led to Peter's failure and ends by looking at Peter's life after he failed.
In Every Man In His Place, Tinsley explores the familiar story of God's call of Gideon to leadership, Gideon's response, and his eventual victory over the Midianites. The message explains that Gideon and his band of 300 men were successful because "every man stood in his place" and provides guidance on how every Christian can find his or her divinely designed place and function in the ministry of the kingdom.
In Fruitfulness, Tinsley analyzes Jesus' parable about the sower who sows the word. In doing so, he argues that "fruitfullness" is a signifcant subject to Jesus, explains why it is significant, and then demonstrates why certain Christians bear more fruit than others.
